What is the REDI Initiative?

Ontario's Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI) initiative supports regional workforce needs through the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).

The initiative covers six designated Ontario regions for 2026–2027. REDI is not a separate immigration stream, and applicants must meet the requirements of an applicable OINP pathway.
